This curricular unit aims to be a learning place, regarding the understanding and production of texts. Since textual practice involves situations in which oral and written languages are used, the educational opportunities that are going to be created, through the understanding and production of different kinds of texts, promote the development of the communicative competences of students.
• Classes of expositive nature.
• Practices of reading and analysis of model texts.
• Planning, production, revision and editing of texts.
The communicative needs verified in students and/or identified by them are the starting point for the development of analytical and synthesis skills, which promote their academic and professional success.
• Participation in class activities – 10%
• Individual written test – 40%
• Written research paper in groups - 25%
• Oral presentation of the research paper - 25%
Students should attend to at least 75% of classes.
